19th December 2020
Benefice of Farleigh, Candover and Wield
Dear friends,
A few days away we will be celebrating the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ, as God become human in a baby at Bethlehem. We are in much constrained circumstances, but always we can find ways of blessing one another in the name and power of Jesus, for with God “all things are possible.”(cf Luke 1:37).
For those unable to get to a Carol Service, there is a “9 Lessons and Carols” online now – link below – enjoy the carols and readings. Stephen’s talk is on “fear not” – a hugely important message this Christmas time.
And as promised, the “Virtual Nativity” also premieres at midnight – thank you to all who contributed to it -girls and boys, well done, and well done your mums and dads in their filming!

Please remember that communion services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be limited number due to social distancing, so you will need to book in with your churchwarden or other person so that we can make sure we keep our distance and restrict the possibility of any infection being spread – we can all use our common sense.
